NOTE NEW TITLE OF GROUP  "SOCIAL SCIENCE DISCUSSION GROUP"

We generally meet fortnightly in Hunmanby Community Centre on Thursdays 2-4 pm.

Lively discussion is encouraged, looking critically at topics in the news from different points of view.  An agreed subject is also studied in depth, usually for three sessions and mainly from the areas of sociology and psychology. We look at the latest findings and ideas and consider their practical implications for society. There are group tasks and exercises and offers to lead a particular session are always welcome.
