Canasta can be played by two to six players. In the case of two or three players, each player plays for themselves; when there are four or six players, they play as a team of two. Canasta requires two complete packs of cards with four jokers, making 108 cards in all.

We play every Friday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm at the Golf Club. (1pm to 3pm during the winter)

We continue to meet during the summer months.

There is no charge for entry but we order tea or coffee around 3pm (2pm in the winter).

But we encourage members to pay social membership of the club £30 which entitles them to reduced bar prices and of course they can use the club facilities ie bar and restaurant at any time.
