The Group meet weekly on Tuesday mornings throughout the year, weather permitting.

 

We are a friendly group of mixed ability golfers who always make newcomers, both men and women, very welcome, and, importantly, we don’t take ourselves too seriously.

 

We try to play different local courses, when possible, especially during the Summer, months. Since the closure of the nine-hole course at Hunmanby, we have used Wolds Way Golf Course on the A64 at Potter Brompton as our go to base. It is nearly always playable in the Winter thanks to the chalk foundation enabling excellent drainage.

 

We would ask that if you haven’t played golf before, you would consider having a few lessons before joining. Most of the Group have done so and have found it to be enormously beneficial.
